Eligibility
An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:
Participants will have their match sanctioned by USA Shooting (USAS). Bay State Games competitors who are members of USAS will have their scores registered and sent to USAS for classification.
Competitors who are not current members of USAS but wish to become a member can do so using the following link: USA SHOOTING MEMBERSHIP
Non-USA Shooting members can shoot in the match and be in contention for Bay State Games medals but, their scores will not be registered with USA Shooting. The sanction number will be listed here closer to the competition.

Sport Pistol Course of Fire
The sport pistol match will be fired on the Fazio Range, a 50-foot inside range.
The match will follow current USA Shooting rules, but there will be no final. The event is a 60 MATCH shots divided into (2) stages of 30 shots each.
PRECISION STAGE: Five (5) minutes preparation, then five (5) shot sighting series, then six (6) five (5) shot series for record.
RAPID STAGE: Three (3) minutes preparation, then five (5) shot sighting series, then six (6) five (5) shot series for record.
Any safe .22 caliber pistol can be used for this event with a limit of 5 rounds of ammunition. B-33 and B-39 reduced targets will be used. Please bring an empty-chamber indicator such as a length of weed-whacker wire or a chamber plug with a flag.
Competition will consist of 60 shots for all divisions
