MASTERS ICE HOCKEY

** You do NOT need to know your team members before you register. Sign up now to reserve your spot in the tournament and the team contact will receive information later to fill out your roster with individual players when the date of the tournament gets closer. 


Registration Deadline: February 12, 2025 or when all spots filled (tournament is capped at 8 teams) 



A team captain will register the team as a whole. As CAPTAIN, enter your personal info, your Team Name and Secret Team Code, then pay the entry fee for your team. As team CAPTAIN, you are registered. However, each GROUP MEMBER must also register for the event.


A link for the TEAM MEMBERS to register will be included in your registration confirmation email for you to forward to your TEAM. They should select the TEAM MEMBER registration category, select your team name and enter the secret code you have designated.


If you are a parent/guardian entering several forms for each of your family TEAM MEMBERS, after you register yourself as CAPTAIN, then use the option to enter ANOTHER FORM for each team MEMBER you are registering.  

This tournament will have a maximum of eight (8) teams. Registration for the tournament is on a first-come, first-serve basis.


In order to maximize ice time/tournament format, after the first 4 teams register, registration will move to a waitlist format & teams will be taken in increments of 2 on a first come first serve basis. 


All ages are as of December 31, 2025

  • 60+ Division: All players must be age 60 or older

*In the 60+ division, goalies may be 55+ 

  • All teams play a minimum of three games during the weekend
  • All games you play count towards overall record

Format will be dependant on how many teams register. Examples include:

  • If 8 teams register, teams will be split into pools. After round robin pool play, 1 seeds will play for gold, 2 seeds will play for bronze. 
  • If 4 teams register, then top 2 after round robin will play for gold and #3 and #4 will play for bronze. 

Tournament format will be confirmed with all team captains prior to the tournament.

  • Tournament is open to all players, regardless of whether or not they are a Massachusetts resident.
  • Maximum of 16 players per team (including goalie).
  • All games in your pool will count towards your overall record.
  • NO checking and NO slap shots allowed in any divisions.
