Eligibility
An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:
- A full-time resident of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont or Connecticut
- A registered member of a shooting club in Massachusetts. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not also be a member of a non-Massachusetts club.
- Athletes who are permanent Massachusetts residents and attend school out of state are eligible to compete.
- Athletes who are full time students at an academic institution in Massachusetts, are eligible to compete.
Participants will have their match sanctioned by USA Shooting (USAS). Bay State Games competitors who are members of USAS will have their scores registered and sent to USAS for classification.

Non-USA Shooting members can shoot in the match and be in contention for Bay State Games medals but, their scores will not be registered with USA Shooting. The sanction number will be listed here closer to the competition.
- Minimum age 13 years old
- Maximum age 80 years old
Open to male and female competitors
Separate divisions for male and female
Competition will consist of 60 shots for all divisions.
All divisions will be using 10m paper targets
