Eligibility

An athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

  • A full-time resident of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont or Connecticut
  • A registered member of a shooting club in Massachusetts. Athletes using the club membership for eligibility may not also be a member of a non-Massachusetts club. 
  • Athletes who are permanent Massachusetts residents and attend school out of state are eligible to compete.
  • Athletes who are full time students at an academic institution in Massachusetts, are eligible to compete. 

All matches are NON Sanctioned Tier 1 Club matches.

  • Junior: Age 10-14
  • Scholastic: Age 15-21
  • Open: 22 and Over

Sport Pistol Course of Fire

  • All ranges are Cold ranges NO LOADED FIREARMS.
  • All firearms will have chamber safety flags. When opening your case make sure the gun is pointing down range.
  • All firearms will remain cased until the range officer gives the command to make ready.
  • A safe table will be available for all competitors to handle their firearms, clean them, or test them.
  • NO AMMO IS ALLOWED AT THE SAFE TABLE.
  • A MANDATORY safety briefing will be held prior to the competition, If you miss it, you will not be allowed to compete.

Conduct

  • All competitors, parents, coaches and observes are to conduct themselves professionally on and off the line. Any interference in the running of the match will not be tolerated and such individuals will be asked to leave. 
  • Competitors are asked to keep all equipment neatly organized behind them in such a way that a clear path is there for line officials. 
  • All competitors and spectators are asked to clean up after the matches are completed.
  • Once the competitors are called to the line, only the line officials may approach the competitor. If a coach would like to talk to a competitor they need to contact the line official and they will pull the competitor from the line. 
  • Observers, parents and coaches are encouraged to sit and relax behind the firing line. 
  • Parents must accompany all competitors that are under 21.
