Kevin Cummings, Executive Director |

Kevin Cummings has been involved with the Massachusetts Amateur Sports Foundation and the Bay State Games since 1984, coordinating events in 25 of the 28 years that the organization has been in existence. He began as a Sports Coordinator, was promoted to Director of Operations in 1992 and was appointed as Executive Director in 1999.
Kevin is an active member of the National Congress of State Games, which represents over 35 states and more than 500,000 athletes annually. He served as the organization's president from 2005-2007, was a member of the National Congress of State Games Board of Directors from 2002-2007, served as Chairman of the State Games of America Committee from 2003-2007 and was a member of the Executive Committee for the 2007 State Games of America. National Congress of the State Games membership and National Governing Body Committees and was selected as the liason between the National Congress of State Games and the United States Olympic Committees Multi Sports Organizational Council.
A 1983 graduate of Boston College, where he managed the Eagles' basketball team, Kevin is involved with the organization and operation of many national and local sporting events in addition to his duties at the Bay State Games. Currently, he is the Director of Volunteer Security for the Boston Marathon (since 1997) and serves as a statistician for the Boston College football and basketball teams and the New England Patriots (since 1984). Kevin also serves as a consultant for DMSE event management and is involved with the operation of major participatory events including the Jimmy Fund Walk, the BAA Half Marathon, and the Feaster Five Road Race.
Kevin has also worked for the 2008 US Womens Marathon Olympic Trials as a member of the organizing committee, the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, the NHL All-Star Game, the World Junior Hockey Championships, the World Cross Country Championships, the McDonald's High School All-America Basketball Game and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championships.

Brittany Rheault, Director of Operations |

Brittany Rheault was named Director of Operations in late 2008 after serving as Director of Special Events and Finance. Brittany came into a full-time position at the Bay State Games in the fall of 2007 after serving as the financial management and merchandise intern for the 2006 Summer Games. Along with being the Director of Operations, she is also in charge of finance and merchandise for the Bay State Games.
Brittany gained experience in special events and programming by serving under the Chair of the NCAA Northeast Region Division III Women's Basketball Committee. She was relied on to calculate teams' rankings, within a variety of categories and factors, research the internet for college information, team schedules, and score, along with many other responsibilities. |
A 2007 graduate of Worcester State College, she received her undergraduate degree in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. As a student she took part in two varsity sports at the college, basketball and softball. These teams participated in a variety of campus and community activities: kick-off breakfasts, campus clean up, non-profit 5K runs, food drives and other volunteer activities. Along with playing on two teams, she also worked for Alumni Relations on campus, was a student mentor for freshman and transfers, a member of the Judicial Board, a Co-Director / Orientation Leader, assistant to the Sports Information Director and a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Council. Brittany is also an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology, a Division 3 program, since 2008 and is working towards her Masters Degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. |

Peter Cohenno, Director of Communications |

Peter Cohenno was named Director of Communications for the Bay State Games in the fall of 2007. In this position, his duties include overseeing all aspects of the media relations, public relations, advertising and marketing for the organization, as well as the production of the Kids Fitness Challenge.
Peter came to the Bay State Games after completing a second stint as a sports writer and copy editor at the Taunton Daily Gazette. In between his stops at the Gazette, Peter worked as a media relations seasonal assistant with the New England Patriots during the 2006 season. While with New England, he composed stories that were featured in the Patriots Game Day magazine and on the team's official website. He also served as a player liaison for the community relations department, helping to coordinate player participation for charitable events. Currently, Peter is a member of the media relations game staff for the Boston Bruins.

In 2003, Peter graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Economics. He was a member of the Polar Bears varsity football and baseball teams, worked as a video assistant for the men's and women's varsity ice hockey programs and co-hosted a late-night sports talk show on the WBOR radio station.
A native of East Taunton, MA, Peter spent his summer months of college working as a substitute teacher in the Taunton Public Schools system, an instructor at the Playball Baseball Camp in Bridgewater, MA, and an umpire with the Massachusetts Baseball Umpires Association. He was also a member of the Wrentham Wrens of the Cranberry Baseball League. Peter ran the Boston Marathon and Falmouth Road Race in 2008. |
